SOURCE: I have no brake lights,
there is a short somewhere-try disconnecting all components on that circuit, put new fuse and try using one,if the fuse still blows, problem is in wiring or switch unit,if not, plug one component in and a time until the fuse blow, replace component
accordingly.make sure there is no slightly shaved wire touching the chassis, this will show when all if d/c'ed and fuse still blows, good luck

I found the problem on my Dodge Ram van.. The button for the hazard lights was bad.. I tuned on the hazard lights and only had one side, so i jiggled it and the other side came on. Then I pushed in the hazard button to turn them off and proceeded to check the brake lights, the still did not work so I again jiggled the hazard button and whaaalaaa the brake lights would flicker on and off.. I have a piece of cardboard pushing the button to the side to hold pressure on it keeping my brake light connection until I can get me a new hazzard switch.. Hope this helps..

How did you check the flasher relay? I only ask because it is a circuit board. But anyways if you feel confident that its fine then I've seen the multi-function switches fail. IM talking about the the lever on the steering column, behind the steering wheel. If you probe the plugs for signal/hazard lamps and you have ground but no power then I would test the multi-function switch.

There is a make or break circuit between the fuse box and the computer that may have sprung. If you find the relay, there is a small small hole in it. You need a toothpick, put the toothpick in the hole and there is sort of a button in there. You will hear it pop like a spring going into place and then the indicators should work.
