I have found the solution to this problem. I have replaced a total of 3 starter motors and has gone away for various periods of time. Further diagnosed when concern happened again starter
would work again after starter ignition feed wire wiggled. I found corrosion build up in connector at ignition feed wire. I replaced connector on wire to starter solenoid and concern has not returned.
my jeep is doing the same thing. the dealer told me i needed to replace a censor in the ingnition switch. 2 days later it wouldnt start again. At dealer now... i am going to have them check the connector and hope that solves it.

The same thing happened to me and the road service mechanic removed the earth connection from the battery which resets the computer and it has worked fine since - except for the radio which now has to have te pin code re-inserted
My 07 Jeep just started the same junk Monday, I have to take the battery terminal off and reset the computer every time I try to go somewhere. Can someone tell me what is wrong or if I should even bother fixing it cause I do alot of traveling and need a dependable vehicle. Im just afraid i may be wasting my time fixing or trying to fix the Jeep. What should I do?
