Ford suer duty 250 diesel has diesel in water

Question corrected for clarity.

The Passenger Compartment (steering wheel) box does 2002 to 2007 according to these. HOWEVER, although the same layout, so do different things depending on the year like this one.

Jerry, Drive to a good shop. So many things can cause reduced power light unfortunately. The first step would be to get the truck hooked up to a scanner/computer and have the computer scanned for trouble codes. One thing that you could try is to drain the water from the water separator that is mounted on the frame under drivers front door. If the PCM picks up on water, power is reduced until water is removed/drained. It could be an exhaust sensor that is reading faulty. Unfortunately from here its impossible to tell you exactly what the fault is because there are just so many engine sensor inputs that could cause your problem. 1 possibility is water in the cylinders does it get hot

Check oil level in gearbox.

I know for some models that Ford had another Diesel timer for the glowplugs for severe weather. This timer was meant to keep the glowplugs on longer.

I had an 87 Ford Diesel and the top wires on the timer were tight and clean. For some reason when I loosened them and retightened the wires the timer worked better.

Many truckers use a Diesel additive and usually the fuelstops have modified Diesel for cold climates. I understand there is a Cetane rating for Diesel and Premium Diesel may help.

my 2005 f250 diesel is all of a sudden not going into 4 x 4, no lights on dash now and cannot engage on wheels manually. Does anyone know where there is a fuse that operates this function that I can check?

right beside the transmission on the drivers side.you can see it easy,or at least my 2008 f350 work truck has it there

The drain is on the frame mounted fuel pump 6mm allen plug
