You'l need to assign each dumper with a work order with specifics of procedures done each day to the vehicle, and expected maintenance for each day. Each vehicle will obviously have an assigned number to track and a worko procedure for each task and by whom. You can make a list in Excel for easy tracking.

Hi i have honda accord 2009 diesel have dpf problem. Now replaced by honda but dpf check system light comes after few hundred miles. Nothing comes in their dignoistic machine plus out side temperature...

I don't know much about the diesel particulate filter system yet other than what I have read.

All the articles on the subject I have seen so far indicate the trigger for starting the automatic DPF cleaning cycle is excessive exhaust back-pressure. When the pressure sensor in the exhaust detects excessive pressure the engine management values are changed to make the exhaust very hot and a special solvent from an on-board reservoir is forced into the system and the cleaning process of the DPF is underway.

The articles suggest topping up the reservoir of special solvent is a routine service item. Anecdotal evidence suggest neither the cleaning process or the topping up are automatic or routine but rather another way for dealers to rip-off customers.

When the cleaning process no longer restores minimal back-pressure the DPF must then be replaced at what anecdotal evidence is a very high cost.
I could be wrong but I suspect before the engine management system recognises excessive back-pressure to be a problem and record it as a fault it would have to record a certain number of instances in a certain time-frame and if that criteria isn't being met there will be no faults stored.
Certainly this is a case for an obd recorder to be fitted to your car to record the live data which can be analysed by the dealer later.

I speculate the pressure sensor, wiring or connectors might be faulty or inaccurate or you really do have a back-pressure problem, either because the DPF they fitted is faulty or of poor quality, the work is of poor quality or because there is something wrong with the rest of the exhaust system.

Personally, because I have experienced back-pressure problems increasing during a journey being caused by exhaust silencer boxes I would start by removing everything rear of the DPF and give each part a shake and compare the weight with a new one of the same type.
Just my opinion you understand.

I would need to refer to a wiring diagram and an overview of the engine management system to form an opinion whether the exterior temperature indicator is a coincidence or is linked.

Good luck!

Why does my vauxhall signum 2.2 diesel keep going into limp home mode

It might be faster if the car was brought to a shop for diagnostics. The ECU has detected a fluid issue and the engine is protecting itself. Check the oil level and transmission fluid. Also check your records and see if the vehicle needs an oil change, transmission service, or antifreeze service. It could be related to your brakes but it that was the case. You have noticed other warning lights. Please write back and let me know what you found or if you have other questions, good luck.

I have a 2005 Ford Ranger diesel (from Thailand). There is a knob on the right side of my steering wheel. It seems like a choke lever but it doesn't pull out. It only screws in or out (possibly faulty?)....

It sounds like it is used to raise the idle speed. Vehicles that use a power take off, an auxiliary hydraulic pump to rum a dumper or wood shipper or whatever, or that drives an large electrical generator need that extra speed when using that feature.

Diesels don't have chokes.

I am purchasing a 2002 F250 XLT Quad cab 7.3 diesel 4x4 with 115K. It was in to the dealer at 100k for maintenance, but I am wondering what maint. It may now need asde from lube?

A truck or car needs oil changes, spark plugs, tires, etc. no matter how many thousands of miles it has on it. In fact over 100k units need more looking after because items like motor supports, etc. that are not a problelm at 50k might be at 115k.

I you would like further help let me know.

We have had to replace the idle control valve 3 times now it just keeps breaking. My husband is able to twist the spring back into it and it will work for a few more weeks but what can we do to fix this...

never heard of any such problem, are u sure it is not just getting sludged up and sticking? Have you tried cleaning it 1st?, here is how u do that.
Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

The most critical things in owning a diesel are the air and fuel filters. Irregardless of what the owner's manual may say change the fuel filters at least twice a year, spring and fall because the oil companies change their additives in the fuel twice a tear. The air filter should be done at least once a year. Keep a close eye on the water in fuel warning and fix it when it shows up, your owner's manual should have the steps to take. Most diesel's call for 15-40 diesel oil, there's no reason not to stay with it. Pick up a copy of Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual, part # 10330.It will save you a lot of time, money and headaches. It costs about $20 at the auto parts store.
Before you make any decisions to start tinkering with it to increase power do your research. Diesel's work well because everything is balanced and even though supplier's may claim you won't have to change anything else, don't bet on it. Bank's is a reliable authority on diesel performance to judge decisions on. Hope this helps.
