Engine cut out as i ddrove an wont start,its got

I'm sure the throttle flap is stuck closed. just move the lever on the side of the throttle. If it turns over faster than normal that is usually what it is.

That could be water in the fuel tank, dirty fuel injectors, or a dirty fuel filter, just for a start.

The usual questions apply.
Do you have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and normal compression when you crank the engine ?

When it won't start you will need to check for spark and fuel pressure to figure out if you are dealing with the ignition system or fuel system.
Is the check engine light on when the engine is running ?

A quick check around internet sites seems to indicate that only Kias from around 2001 had inertia fuel cut outs. So I figure your problem is probably a flattened or kinked fuel line, from that excursion into the snow.

what year is the car ? how many miles on the car ? what does it look like ? when it ran did it run well ? does the car start ? or does it run then die at stops

one good way to check that the fuel pump is running to listen. take the gas cap of and put you ear the the fuel tank fill neck. have a freind turn the key from the off position to the on position, but do not start the crank the engine over. you should hear a huming or wizzing sound for a few short moments. if you hear that sound the pump is running and more thatn likely pumping fuel.

There are 2 things that can go wrong one cheap and the other around $100-200. The first problem could be the fuel filter if it is getting plugged up it wont allow the fuel to flow through to your engine sufficiently, but at faster speed it will still allow the fuel to flow enough. The other problem could be the fuel pump, this is the more expenive route. This will have the same effect on a car as the fuel filter. If I were you I would try replacing the fuel filter first to see if that made a change, this should only cost you around $5-20.
