How to install bushing
Many bushings all over in cars and all are pressed in. Which bushing are you referring to?
Which one and why? If you have noises, it's not the lower control arm bushings. All these Camrys need rear sway bar bushings for the noise in the rear. For the noises in the front you'll need new strut mounts and the transmission mount that is on the far left hand side, in front of the driver between the frame and the end of the transmission housing. Any other bushing please specify and I'll tell you how to do it.
I just saw the "control arm" in your title, it didn't show up on the website at first. The control arm bushings rarely fail so please take what I said previously to heart. If you really want to change them anyway, it's not easy. You'll need a press to get them out and then in again. Some people try to burn them out with a torch and then press the new ones in, either way, a tricky job. Sometimes easier just to get control arms from a scrap yard. I can't emphasize enough though, if you have a rattle in the front end...over bumps it's the strut mounts. If you get a rattle when you're initiating a right turn, it's the transmission mount.
The control arm bushing definately had to be replaced - totally worn out. But it was a real pain to get back in. But...then found out that the axle needed replacing too. Gotta love older cars.....
