1) Drain coolant
2) Raise and support vehicle
3) Remove the passenger side wheel and inner splash guard
4) Remove A/C compressor attaching bolts and position aside
5) Place a 1" wood block between the crankshaft and water pump pulley and remove water pump bolts and allow pulley to hang on pump hub
6) Remove water pump attaching bolts, then remove water pump and discard gasket
7) Reverse procedure to install
you most likely have a plugged catalytic converter and a stuck open egr valve. Your car has two one is a digital electric and the other is mechanical, this is a common problem for that car. The digital is hard to find on the engine and hard to get at but if you want the procedure I can tell you how to fix it by removing and cleaning.
is the car over heating to the point the over heat light comes on and/or gauge pegs out max heat ? if so u probly need a new water pump. or is the a/c just warm air ?
spray some carb cleaner on the passeger side of the intake manifold, right behind the alternator. it is very common for those to leak there and cause those exact problems
Take off air breather tube,you should see a cone shaped part, on top and at back of engine right by the gas pedal cable. Remove the 2 10mm bolts, and it should come right off.
