2005 FORD MUSTANG ACCELERATES ON ITS OWN. THE VEHICLE WILL ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN. THE RPM'S WOULD BE UP TO 1500. AND, NOW IT ACCELERATES UP TO 2500 RPM'S. ALSO THE TRANSMISSION DID NOT SHIFT SMOOTHLY. THE TRANSMISSION WOULD CLUNK WHEN THE CLUTCH WAS LET OUT, ESPECIALLY IN LOWER GEARS.
I
had got its manual from online store www.reliable-store.com. Here's the site link I am sure they will help you

Dear Sir/Madam,
The problem will be solved is to Installing an automatic transmission shift kit.
A quick way to improve your car's acceleration without modifying your engine
is to add a shift kit to your automatic transmission. This upgrade
makes for a crisper, more precise response when shifting. It also makes
the shift from First to Second gear shorter for a better launch, but
with no loss of smoothness. It also corrects, reduces, or prevents
early shifts, soft shifts and stacked or late shifts.
Thanks
Good luck

SOURCE: '94 Ford Ranger XLT Manual Transmission Problem?
For the information given, and assuming forr a 94 it has a bunch of miles, I would bet on a slipping clutch along with a pressure plate that is glazed over. I doubt the transfer case, that's just a chain drive mechanism with nothing much to slip in there. In 2 wheel drive the transfer case drives pretty much straight through and shouldn't add to the problem.
If the clutch has over 80K on it, replace and resurface the pressure plate at the same time.
Does the clutch pedal have about 1/4" of play before it begins to engage? If not adjust the clutch play 1st and see if that helps.
Let me know if you have a further symptoms to share.
Doug

Water jackets pretty tight on heads. Replacing engine right now for this problem on customer work van. Pull plugs and look for any cylinders with antifreeze in them. This truck had 250k and same problem.

To do this in park or neutral is normal. To do it while driving is not.
There are so many things that could cause this but if you have no check engine light and it runs normally up until then I would suspect you have an exhaust restriction. This can be checked fairly easy on this vehicle, it has a DPFE sensor that mounts near the top back side of the motor. It will either be black or silver, will have a 3 wire connector to it and 2 hoses going down the back of the motor to the exhaust. You can disconnect one of these hoses and install a vacuum/pressure guage and measure exhaust back pressure. It should be 1 psi or less at idle and when you go to wide open throttle should not exceed 3 to 4 psi. If it does something in exhaust, most likely one of the catalytic convertors is stopped up.

fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, the vehicle probably needs a full tune-up.
