Next time number each lead before you remove it and no. the dissy cap as well

The firing order, which should be cast into the intake manifold, for the chevy small block V8 is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. The firing order is the numerical sequence in which the spark plugs are fired. The insertion position of each spark plug wire around the circumference of the distributor cap can be found according to a clock face. The insertion sequence determines the firing order. The firing order is followed clockwise around the distributor cap starting from the 6:30 position with the 6:30 position being the number one cylinder spark plug wire.
On classic chevy small block engines that use ignition breaker points instead of electronic ignitions, the number one cylinder is the one immediately clockwise of the small metal sash cover on the distributor cap. The firing order starts here. There is no sash cover on the distributor cap for GM HEI electronic ignitions, and the firing order is the same, but starting at the 5:30 position.
The firing order makes sense if you know how the cylinders are numbered. The number one cylinder is the front most on the drivers side and 2 being the front most on the passenger side. From front to back, the cylinders are odd numbered on the drivers side, and even numbered on the passenger side.
See the diagram; Click to open a printable larger image in a new window. The firing order starts with the number one cylinder. We would connect the number one spark plug wire to the distributor cap terminal in the 6:30 position. I took of*** my spark plug wires working on my - distributor.pngSince the next cylinder in the firing order is 8 (passenger side rear), we connect the number 8 spark plug wire to the next distributor cap terminal (approximately 7:30 position) in the clockwise direction from number one. You need to be sure you continue the firing order in the clockwise direction around the chevy small block distributor cap from the last installed spark plug wire. Setting the rest of the firing order is just a matter of repetition. Be sure to count the spark plugs from front to back on each side of the motor to identify the correct cylinder number in the firing order.

Diagram for 1993 chev 350 thruttle body for spark plugs

Firing order is clock wise rotation. You can see firing order in picture. You can see how cylinders are numbered. I did show number one terminal on distributor cap, according to my database. I don't like to do that because I've seen many pictures that were wrong. If you put number one piston on tdc of compression stroke, which ever spark plug tower the rotor is leading into is number one, then follow firing order around cap in direction of rotation. Just my opinion.
I looked at 93 chevy pickup, 350 engine.

I take out the wire sparkplus and don`t how put back on 1984 econoline 350

You can look up firing order or get me the engine size so I can help you. Also is your van a 1999 or 1984 1 ton?
Your parts store has your firing order.
Next time do 1 at a time so not to mix up the wires.
30+ years ago I did the same thing I learned the hard way too. Once you get the firing order and start position line up your wires short to the front and longer to the back on a 84 v8 with a distributor. E-350 could have a small or big block V-8 or a 6 cylinder

Change plugs and wire and engine will not acclerate. This is a built 350 short block chevy with pro charger.

350 Chevy engine in what? 1990 Corvette? Who built it, did you?

Sounds as though you have plug wires wrong.
Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

Distributor Ignition System:
Distributor rotates Clockwise. (Rotor)
Find Number 1 tower on distributor cap, go Clockwise with Firing Order.

Distributorless Ignition System:
VIEWING the engine from the Front of the car.

Spark plug wire connections along the back, starting from Left side going to Right side;
2-3-7-4

Spark plug wire connection towards the Front of the engine;
6-1-5-8

(To guess I would say you have 5 and 7 wires switched)

Left side cylinder order is 1-3-5-7, going from front to back.
Drivers side is Left side.
Right side cylinder order is 2-4-6-8, going from front to back.

Hi,
I don't know your engine size, but the link below is a picture of the GM small block firing order with distributor.

Tune up

firing order on a 350 is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 on the motor, looking at it you have the fan in front of you. On your right you have the odd numbers, the left, the even. Starting from the fan on the right it will be 1, 3, 5, and 7. On the left from the fan it will be 2, 4, 6, and 8. On the distrubitor you'll see 8 prongs for the wires. Looking at the distrubitor from above, you'll see a black box on the drivers side. Use the firing order I gave you, start at the second prong clockwise from that box and hook up your wires accordingly to the firing order. Remember to go in a clockwise rotation!
