Code 410 for a GM product is a problem with the secondary air injection system. There is a pump that puts air into the exhaust to lower emissions. You may have to get a shop manual to find the diagnostic steps to find the problem.
p0412 Secondary air injection switching valve A circuit Right side of engine compartiment. ( underhood fuse block ) - Air pump fuse 50A- Air control valve relay- ignition1 fuse 10A ( positive for the relay )The secondary air injection pump relay is located near radiator surge tank.Left front of engine compartiment = Secondary air injection pump
This is a code related to the air flow from the air pump (aka pollution pump) into your exhaust system. This air pump takes outside air and injects it in the exhaust stream after the engine to help burn off any residual fuel or pollutants. When P0411 comes up, the control module detects a lack of air flow either caused by a defective air pump, leaking/clogged air hoses, or bad check valves.
I don't have a diagram, but your problem is the oil cooler underneath the intake on top of the engine. Remove the intake, and the cooler is right there in between the heads. Easy to change once you get the intake off. This is a VERY common problem on Cateras, and the symptom of it is oil in your coolant. I have a 1998 Catera and had the same issue.
