I have a Kia Optima 2004, if you timing belt breaks be prepared to also replace a small balance belt that's inside the timing belt area and it also may have caused the camshaft-sensor to go out as well.

It happened to me. it was a bad Camshaft-Sensor. The new sensor needs to be position with a special tool that just kia dealer has. if not position correct it will destroy your engine.

check the filter! first! it is possible its stopped up! when taking the filter lose start at the rear line and check to see how much pressure comes out? if its little to no! pressure then the fuel pump is weak!

Do a compression test as a malfunctioning valve can cause back fire through the carbie. Since you have changed all the wires double check you have them in the right order because if they are wrong you could get a backfire.

Onece in a while turn over wont fire. runs great other wise

your injector or fuel pump may be going out, next time when you check the issue, check your distubutor again and making sure you getting sparks, if you do have sparks than it has to be your fuel problems.

Car wont start. it would turn on at times, but did not seem to turn over as quickly

i have a 1992 isuzu rodeo its 12 deg. out -5 with wind chill truck would not start today played with batt.termanal and started went 1 mile or less to bank and stalled turns over fast but will not restart went back 5 hours later started right up got back home less 1 mile stalled in drive way and wont start.........help
