Experienced the same thing with my chevy s10 2wd pickup. Ran fine on the flat, but as soon as I went up a hill or the side of a mountain, I lost all power, and the truck just bogged down so bad that it was embarrassing. Once I crest the hill or mountain side, the truck runs great...problem solved, cracked exhaust manifold. GOOD LUCK. getting the daggone thing off...the bottom two bolts are impossible to get to.

First check for any cracked pipes leading into the intake manifold If all OK (with no codes showing it probably is OK) try checking the fuel pressure regulator. If you smell fuel from the pressure regulator vacuum side arm (when the vacuum line has been disconnected) it needs to be replaced.

Throttle body intake gasket leaking. Spray carb cleaner at base of carb if engine stalls down it is leaking. Spray all the way around bottom and listen for engine to stall if does replace gasket.

Noise in front end 2002 zr2 blazer

Two things maybe your problem:1 .Front axle actuator to engage 4wd is not releasing. 2. Front axle u-joint needs replacing. Lift car on jacks with front end off ground. Then spin tires by hand as fast as you can and see if you hear the noise and where it is coming from ( spin in both directions).

93 chevrolet truck bogging down on acceleration

Check intake gaskets. Pour warm soapy water on the gasket when it's running. If it bubbles like crazy, you have a leak. 2. Check timing. Shoot a timing light at the crank mark. If it jumps around a lot, your chain has jumped. #3. check cam. Remove valve covers, run the engine, and see if they are all raisng the valves the same. Put a piece of cardboard along the bottom, and fold it around a little, so it forms kind of a " half valve cover". That way you won't lose oil everywhere, and make a mess, or a fire.
