You can find the proper routing, by looking for the serpentine diagram, normally found on underside of hood or on radiator support in engine compartment
check the belt routing, you may have inadvertently routed it wrong, ive done it plenty of times on a taurus, think about it, if you didnt change the belt, how did it get longer????
look under hood for belt routing diagram, then obtain belt and belt tensioner tool from advance auto and it will be easy. 10 min job. If no diagram draw one yourself then use that for reference.
hello two things you can do under your hood look very good ford usually has a routing diagram mounted on the top support of your radiator or off to the side it will be a pitcher of a front of a motor with pullys should show you with and without ac routing if not dont panic go to part store like auto zone get your self a haynes manuel that covers your year car the serpitine routine should be in there for your motor goodluck please rate
My Ford Taurus does not have the belt routing in the engine compartment on the front clip, or under the hood. Do you have a diagram of the belt routing?
