The throttle position sensor on the intake area and the kickdown switch are both suspect in this. If your pushing hard enough to shift down it could be that sensor is faulty, If not the change in position is to fast for the faulting position sensor. Those are the cheapest things to replace, The other maybe the transmission modulator that tells the unit to shift down.

I took it to a garage had it plugged into the computer and it came back with 3 fault codes which are: P1119 - inlet metering valve control
P1120 - Electric governer malfunction
P0190 - Fuel rail pressure sensor malfunction
any suggestions on what part/s i'd need to fix these problems and are they all linked???
