Burning smell inside car. Not under hood. What could it be?

I had the same problem with my 2005 Honda Accord. I would happen only sometime but is a distant odor I smell from inside the cabin. Older Hondas sometimes have gasket problems that leak small amounts of oil onto the exhaust manifold. Ask the mechanic to go check the valve cover gaskets. They replaced a new gasket to my car at the Honda dealer and I haven't smelled that burning odor since then. Good luck.

The gearshift on my 2005 hyundai sonata gearshift is locked. where is the release button?

The release is located inside of the shifter housing. It can be accessed through a small hole, possibly covered with a small plastic cover, near the shifter. Insert punch into hole, depress release and shift out of park.

Where is the fuel filter on the 2005 Element?

The fuel filter for a Honda 2005 Element is located inside the actual gas tank, it is part of the fuel pump. It is not something you can replace yourself.

AC condensation (clear water) is draining inside the cab, from beneath the glove box. If the drain to outside is clogged, how do you clear it?

mcdevito75 here, Drain could be clogged or has flopped to the inside of your car, Locate the drain tube comming thru the Fire wall just opposite of the glove box and use a thin wire to clear it. You can get thin wire at a hardware store.
