Under the fuse panel - look at the back of the fuse panel cover - there is usually a diagram to show each fuse. If not there, locate the fuse/relay panel under the hood - this should be on the drive side firewall. Lift out the cover and look at the back of it - the cruise control relay and/or fuse may be there.

Note: Cruise control is also operated partly by vacuum. So this may be the problem if your cruise is not working. Locate or purchase a repair manual for details, or ask an auto parts dealer representative for more information.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance with this matter.

Does vss affect cruise control on 95 dodge van 3500

yes
the VSS (vehicle speed sensor ) communicates the vehicle speed to the cruise control to allow it to energize or stop when the vehicle speed is too slow
it does that through the ECM unit

1999 plymouth voyager insterment panel cruise control and horn does not work any suggestions

the first thing is to check all your fuses, this vans have problems with the clusters going bad, you can remove it and make sure the connection is good, remove it and then plug it back and see if cluster starts working, if not then replace it, this may be related to other problems but it may not , the common problem with the cruise and horn not working reminds me of a bad clock spring, this is the unit is steering column thats like a rooll of flat wires that make the connection to horn and cruise as you turn the wheel, heres a picture of it,it works like a window shade, goes in or out as you turn the wheel. hope this helps.9dcb131.gif8212bd2.jpg

1997 plymouth grand voyager cruise control problems

Try doing a "Brain Kill" on the van. Disconnect both battery terminals, and (MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY!!!!!) touch and hold them together for at least 10 seconds. Mopars hold onto their faults, even after the repairs. Huge problem for transmission shops, but that's another topic. My 99 Dakota had the Speed Sensor fail, and it wouldn't shift until I "Killed" the ECM and BCM's memories.

Good Luck!!!

I can't find the horn, also my remote keyless doesn't work

It sounds as if your BCM Body Control Module is failing. Nearly all electrical controls go to this on these vans. Best to purchase aused one from a wrecking yard. If my memory sereves me the BCM in located under the hood, drivers side by the fuse box.
I hope this may have helped you,
Tom

Cruise control quit working, so where should I check. I would like to know about the wires and fuses and where to trace them down.

The 1994-95 Chrysler Minivans have four electrical panels/fuse boxes.:
  1. Fuse Block Panel (In Dash)
  2. Relay Block (In Dash)
  3. Micro Relay Block (In Dash)
  4. Power Distribution Center (Underhood)
Fuse block is located on left side of instrument panel, behind access door. Speed (cruise) control fuse is No. 14.
Note: If you have an airbag light on your dash litup, it might be something called a clockspring, which you'll have to take to the dealership/garage to get fixed. (Dealership is probably your best bet)
Hope this helps! :)

Cruze control

You will see them near the throttle inside the hood. Cruise Controls use vacume air hoses and electronic switches. that's how they control the speed.
