I have a 2001 Saturn SL2 and need to know the part (the conncector/adapter to the engine rear side) that connects from the engine to coolant tank? The hose is the upper coolant expansion hose, but I need to know what is the part that connects this hose to the engine. 2nd- should I have to purchase another Intake Manifold, or just the small connector part? PLEASE! URGENT

If this is the case the engine has to be running very rough. If not you have a fuel tank leak instead If no leak is detected, have a tune up performed with a dianognistis test
well first you drain the coolant out at the low point on the radiator, that way it is saved if new. then you take off the right front wheel and remove the plastic access cover from behind the wheel to get to that side of the engine. then you take off the serpentine belt and etc. yes you can do this with the engine still in the car. you may want to consider replacing the serpentine belt and tensioner while you are in that area.
Possible blown head gasket. Big problem . Have that checked immediately by a engine coolant pressure leak-down test. You can lose your engine and pronto! Small amount of coolant possible passing into crankcase or/and the cylinders.
Try pulling the engine coolant temp sensor, They often crack not sure
why but the ceramic tip cracks makes the car hard to start, the car's
idle may race while shifting gears, and often smokes. The sensor is on
the right side of the engine when looking at it on the head. Easy to
change and get too
