1999 jeep wrangler sahara: sometimes the turn signals don't work but if i ''jiggle'' the hazard light switch it sometimes work. when my parking lights are on the brake lights on passenger side doesn't work. heard through forums that it might be a relay on the hazard light switch, is this true? I checked the bulbs and they are fine now and installed correctly. Previous owner installed backward.

It sounds like the turn signal switch is bad.

No break lights, high beams, or turn signal lights

Do they work intermittently? Do your low beams go out sometimes when you put on turn signal? Do hazards work sometimes and if you play with switch they work off and on? I just had a problem with headlights would go off if I put on turn signal and if I jiggled the turn lever they would come back on and had trouble with all light working intermittently, brakes, turn and hazard. It was a Turn signal switch problem. The contacts in the switch were bad, all corroded and green when I took it apart. I know you wouldn't think this would affect brake lights but hey all run through this switch because of hazards and high beams. I got a new switch from dealer and all is working great now. Here's a link a link I used for switch replacement instructions. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/write-up-replace-turn-signal-switch-97-xj-620147/
If it isn't a fuse or wiring issue I would look into the switch.

The directional lights works sometimes and sometimes not

You probably have an issue with the switch you use to turn your lights on and off. Try only holding it one direction slightly, as though you were signaling a pass instead of a turn. Also wiggle your hazard flasher switch to see if that makes a difference. You didn't indicate what year Jeep you have but these things made the problem obvious on my 1997 Wrangler. (TJ) If your Jeep is similar, the part was US$80 at AutoZone.

Fog lights will not turn off on 2002 Jeep Wrangle Sahara

Or you could just pull out the relay under the hood, it's marked fog lights, pull the relay out. If your hi beam indicator is flashing with your fog lights on them selves. Could be the multi function switch. That controls turn signals, headlights, fog, I have seen many of those go bad.

Mine did the same thing. One light I broke off in a snow bank and I just cut the other wire. Problem fixed :)

Did you go off road in the mud or woods? If so the connecting plug where all the connect probably has gotten disconnected.I think it is near or between the fuel tank and rear bumper.

MY HAZARD LIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING

I had the same problem with my 99 jeep. Turns out the turn signals, hazard lights and brake lights are part of the turn signal switch. I replaced mine and everything worked great.
