Try behind the front passenger seat under a trap door in the floor. A lot of these mid-size suv's ar elocating the battery under trap doors in the floor behind the front seats, or under the mid-rear seats.
Most every answer on here got it right. It is under the floor mat behind the front passenger seat. You will need an octagonal "allen" wrench, to remove the trap door that covers the battery. Once inside, the battery removal/replacement is as straight forward as that of an under-hood battery. One IMPORTANT matter to be aware of!...Because the battery is INSIDE the car, and ALL batteries produce noxious acidic gasses, there is a small tube that must be put back in its original position, to divert those gasses outside the car. I WATCHED the installer at a "large big box store" break the small plastic connector, that comes with the new battery when purchased, TWICE! They then attempted to tell me it was unimportant. NOT TRUE, unless you enjoy breathing in hydrochloric acid! Make sure you are careful with this inch long plastic connector, or it will EASILY break, while shifting the battery around in that very tight compartment. Happy DIYing!

SOURCE: How do I change battery
No matter who does the job you will have to reprogram everything. Some parts stores sell a product that uses a 9 volt battery and plugs into the cigarette lighter, but in my experience they almost never work.

It's not hard. Open the hood, locate the backside of the lite thats out(follow the wires) give the housing a slight counter-clockwise turn to remove it.
The bulb should pull out. Use a tissue to re-install the new bulb, as the oils on your fingers will cause the new one to overheat and burn out, prematurly
