SOURCE: Will a 1998 jeep 4L 2.5 motor work in a 1991 jeep wrangler?

Most likely yes. One thing about the older Jeeps is that they did not change the models much from year to year. If the two jeeps had the same engine, they are probably nearly 100% interchangeable.

SOURCE: signal lights dont work when breaking

No,this is not normal, this normal when the emergency flashers are on,but not the turn signals.Check the bulbs(all of them)in the rear tail light assembleys. If you can not tell which bulbs are bad, replace them all.Does this vehicle have a trailer light plug?If it does,it could be in it.After the bulb replacement(look at bulbs in your hand to see if filiments are burned)replace the turn signal flasher. To find it turn key on,and left or right turn signal on,and listen, and feel for it under dash around the steering column.

SOURCE: what are the color codes for a 1996 jeep grand

Well the 2 wires that are same color are the heater wires, and then for the other 2 colors, you will have to consult the manual that comes with the universal oxygen sensor. One will be a 5 volt constant from the computer, and the other will be the signal return. So you know which wires are what on the truck, I have the diagrams right here:

thanks for asking.

1996. Which color wires go where?

There should have been an instruction sheet in the box with the sensor. If not, you may have to go back to the store and ask for one.
Most sensor brands are different.

2002 lincoln ls oxygen sensor signal wire color

White are the heaters
Black the ground

Grey (signal) or output wire

Back probe the grey wire & ground your
meter lead or oscilloscope to chassis ----- NOT THE SENSOR GROUND

No voltage goes to the O2 --- it is an output sensor

Bosch 02 sensor downstream on a 1996 Jeep grand cherokee 4.0 motor. I have no wire harness to match the colors to. bosch has two white, one grey and one black. Jeep has orange/green,black/brown,black/blue...

The two white are the heater
The black the ground
The gray the O2 Sensor output,
you back probe to check Voltage
& Switching Times

The vehicle wiring harness does not have to match
the sensor, BUT -- you need to have the same
connector on the sensor

If you have a universal cut & splice, you have junk,
and we given the wrong part

Get a Bosch or NGK, OEM sensor & just
plug it in

I need to know which wire on the 4 wire oxygen sensor (2 white, one grey one black) is the heat wire on a ford f-150 o2 sensor?

Hello! There are four O2's...Each O2 heater, left and right bank, front and rear, has it's own wire colors...These colors are "at the connector"...First series are the control ground sent by the PCM..
RR=White/Black...RF=Red/White...LR=Tan/Yellow...And LF=Yellow/Light Blue...........This series are the battery leads, hot when fuel pump relay pulls...RR=Violet/White...
RF=Red/Yellow...LR=Violet/White...LF=Red/Yellow...
