At the back of the tank there is a black box, vapor canister that has a valve on it that gets stuck closed and does not let the pressure of the gas fumes release out of the tank therefore kicking of the fuel pump because there to much pressure in the tank.

05 transmission fluid fill plug

ah, its on the tranny. (where else?)

or RTM read the manual
here

https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1035-2008-forenza-reno-service-manual.aspx

on new cars they moved it,
why
so the fiddlers (zoners and too fast lube goons) are forced to do it right. ask for right. or read it in the FSM.
all this is a product of long warranties.

2004 avalanche wont take gas when filling tank

here is a common problem with these trucks. The fuel tank evap canister vent becomes plugged. ( it's a sealed poly tank ) This can cause your fuel tank to be sucked in causing damage to the tank, Fuel level sensor ect. If you hear a sucking sound when you go to refuel its a good idea to have this checked. This happens all the time on oilfield trucks. In many cases the vent has been moved to a different location to prevent this from happening. many people have complained of this exact same thing on this exact same truck. If you are able to afford a good mechanic, He will know what to do if you print this answer or tell him this information. good luck... Tim

I have an 05 Avalanche gas is running down from the top of the tank is this the fuel pump or something else?

You'll have to drop the tank to find out, it could be the filler hose or one of the hoses connected to the fuel sender assembly. Another possiblity is if you mounted something in the bed section with self tapping screws you may have punctured the tank.

Cannot get fuel into tank. nozzle keeps clicking off. just dribbles in.

Hello, Its probably something simple like an obstruction in your breather tube located right beside your fuel inlet tube or your inlet tube itself being plugged with something foreign. Very rarely is it your vapor canister.

How do you fill the transmission fluid in 05 v6 malibu?

depends, some of them have a little red cap underneath where the breather box is on the top of the transmission, if not youve got to jack the car up on the drivers side, take the wheel off, and you will see a fill plug there, you put an extention end in it to take it out, or just a plain 3/8 ratchet. should be close to where the axle comes out.

How do you check and fill rear end in 2004 avalanche

if it has a drain and a fill plug remove the fill plug and (I use my finger) stick the tip of something in it about an inch if you touch fluid its full. When your changing the fluid on a diff that has one plug you will need to **** the fluid out with a vacuum pump, **** until no fluid comes out. then add fluid with a fluid pump until you have alittle over flow. If your diff has 2 plugs remove top plug first ( to make sure you can add fluid, and its not seized up.) then drain the fluid by removing the bottom plug. Replace the bottom plug add fluid with a pump until full ( you will no its full by the presence of over flow.) then replace the top plug
