My transmission went in my 1999 Plymouth Voyager, someone had told me that I can use a transmission for a 1998 Plymouth Voyager. Would like to know if I can replace it with a 1998 before I do it. I don't want to make more work for myself if I don't have to.
In most cases yes/ But there are some things to be aware of are they both overdrive?or both not . do they both come out of a van with exact same type engine.do both have same computer numbers/are they both electric shift.if i can think of any thing Elsi ? look closely at them you may need to change plug or senders .?mount bracket's .
Call a junk yard and ask them for an interchange on your transmission. Most likely any Chrysler product with the same body style and engine size, in the same late 90s years will be a match.
