My rear windshield wiper stopped working on my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. I can hear the motor working but when we replace the motor it still wont work.

Possible wiper linkage has broken/seperated from wiper motor. The wiper cowling covering the linkage assembly will need to be removed to inspect/repair

Do you hear any kind of noise when you starter the wiper function. If yes then fuse is ok, but issue is wiper motor.

Yes it sounds like the motor,but i have also had a bad connection on the wires leading into wiper motor.Try turning wipers on then push on the wires going into motor if they start working that is the problem, If not you may have to replace wiper motor.I hope this will help you

Sounds like the windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced. The gear inside may be stripped so you'll hear it running but it won't do anything. I've had that happen with the rear wiper motor. Hope that helps.

The wiper arm could have worked up off the stem? mabey their is a set screw that worked loose that would keep it tight on the stem?

Check the wiper motor connection if its touching anything and loose it will automatically ground out and check at connection make sure you put some gel and then snap it in/ Please rate my response thank you very much
