If you mean that your brake pedal is hard when you step on the pedal like has resistance , than it sounds like you need to replace your brake booster. Unbolt master cylonder from brake booster. Leave brake lines attached. Inside car remove the pin going to the brake booster. There are four 15 mm nuts that hold the booster to the floor board, you will have to remove them with a swivel 15mm socket. Remove booster and replace in reverse order. Leave comment if this helps.

Hi- Check your large - very large black hose that goes to the Power steering booster. The booster sits right in front of the driver under the hood and is black - round and large. It has a hose that goes to it from the intake area of the truck - this hose has to be - in good shape - capable of holding a vacuum and attached at BOTH ENDS.

Replace if necessary.
This should fix your problem

please vote me 4 hands up of this is a fix for you.

Thanks

1978 chev motorhome brakes are hard to push down to stop

If they are standard power brakes, check the vacuum booster. The diaphragm may be broken. If it holds a vacuum it's OK. If the brakes run through the power steering pump, make sure the belt is tight and the steering is smooth.

1993 buick lesabre changed the front rotars and pads and now the cars brake pedal is so hard to push down to get car to stop. Mechanic has checked both the front and back brakes and they are fine. T

I would jack up a front wheel and see if pushing on the pedal with the engine running will stop the wheel from turning.
You need to know if the pressure is reaching the wheels, or if the pads and rotors are too slick to stop the car.
Usually if the pedal is hard, the booster is not working or the brakes are glazed.
Can you stop the car with the parking brake ? That only uses the rear brakes.
You may need a second opinion from a different shop.

When coming to a stop, the brakes work fine until I get almost stopped, then the pedal will push down further and brakes will come on hard, and stop vehicle hard, what could be the problem?

Sounds like your master cylinder is bad on your brake system. If you are stopped in your driveway(not on the street) leave the vehicle in park. Start the car and place your foot on the brake with light pressure and keep this pressure on the pedal. If the pedal continues to drop slowly to the floorboard your master cylinder is leaking past the primary piston in the master cylinder. If this is the case have this repaired immediately. Your brakes could just all of a sudden not be there the next time you apply them when you need to stop.

When push brakes you have to push really hard to make them go in then the truck barely stops. Replaced the MC and bled the brakes now every time push brakes truck acts like its going to die. Brake light...

Sounds like you will have to bleed your brakes again, but thats not the problem og hard brake peddle, need to check your power brake booster, sit right in back of master cylinder, check make sure it has vacum going to it, also to test it with engine off, press on brake peddle three time, then state engine with foot on peddle, peddle should go down a few inches, also with engine of peddle should feel soft for three pumps, if you have none of this , power brake booster is bad.

My brake pedal is hard to push in. the car wont/ is hard to stop. i replace the brake pads and the calipers. what could be the problem now?

i guess your brake booster is the problem. try this.... engine not running just pump the brake at least 25 times at the 25 count, just keep your feet on the brake pedal and start the engine. if the brake pedal won't go down even a little... your brake booster is gone. or something with the vacuum.
