The OCV on this car is electronic and located next to the EGR valve. You must remove the trans support brace to access it.

SOURCE: Where is pcv valve located on 2005 taurus

It is below the egr valve close to the intake manifold below the intake air sensor, there is a tube running to it from the engine to recirculate exhaust air with fresh air, there is a clamp holding it to the air intake that you need pliers to remove, then you need to turn counter-clockwise 90 degrees to remove, do the reverse to install. to make it easier to access remove the upper intake. The pcv valve is not visible, however, you can identify it by the 3" inch long rubber hose that connects to the steel line running into the bottom of the intake. I have the part and am going to replace it soon, although Ford really makes it difficult to remove it -
pcv valve is located just under the throttle body. remove air cleaner assembly from throttle body and you will see a u shaped hose running horizontally.

Were is the pcv valve on a 2005 ford freestar

pcv valve is located on the valve cover of the engine. you will see a line running close to the middle of the valve cover gently pull the line out of the valve cover, the pcv valve will be on the end of the line. take out the pcv shake it, if it rattles it is okay, if you don`t hear a rattle it needs to be replaced. Also I personally would change the pcv valve every 25,000 to 30,000 miles because they are usually inexpensive.

Code P0402, on 2005 Freestyle. Where is the valve

I assume (based on the code) that you are referring to the egr valve. Here is a picture showing an EGR valve (not from the freestyle):http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q48/tommyliuca/egr%20valve/1-1.jpg

The freestyles looked similar and is in a similar location. Looking at the engine from the front of the car, the EGR valve is to the right of the engine and a little further back (closer to the driver).

Let me know if you can find it, or if you need a picture of the freestyle's (I own a 2005 freestyle).

Replaced rear brakes on 2005 ford freestyle. how do i get them to engage

Jack up one of your rear wheel and look for the brake fluid bleeder valve. Loosen it up, until the brake fluid
drips. Have someone at the driver seat, and start pumping the brake pedal. Look at the bleeder valve, until the fluid coming out is solid and close it fast and
tight. Repeat this procedure at the other wheel. Then, you are done. E-mail us for your comments.

2005 Ford Freestyle compressor went bad, same mileage

Get an estimate from a Ford dealer. Your problem may not take all the parts that Goodyear wants to put in. The dealer has recall info and may work with you to keep a Ford customer. You say your compressor went bad, but that may be the result of a problem and not the cause.
You can also try independent shops rather than franchises. But you may not know of any. Sometimes I ask at Police stations if I need help for reliable service places.
