Agreed with TDISLines's solution. The most important thing is that whatever brand of oil you decide to use, please ensure that it meets the VW specifications as outlined i.e. 505.01 for normal service interval and 506.01 for long life.
It is on these specifications that people make mistakes with their Audi engines and put in fully synthetic oil (thinking they have met the requirement) but often it does not meet the actual standard required for pumpe deuse diesel engines. Check the container for the specifications as outlined.
Personally, I strongly recommend sticking to the normal 505.01 service with more frequent oil changes as I do not like the long life service idea.
If this helps please leave a vote on the solution.
The best oil for Audi 1.9 TDI is CASTROL 0W30 SLX Longlife II (TDI Pump Nozzle) VW Norm 506.01 . This oil is issued by Castrol special for TDI - Pumpe Duse (Pump Nozzle) engine as longlife oil (50,000 km service interval, or two years).
Also a normal service oil (15,000 kmservice interval, or one year) is Castrol TXT 5W40, and Castrol EDGE 5W30, for TDI Pump Nozzle engines, VW Norm 505.01.
