I have a 2007 Ford Edge SEL and the rear blinker is flashing really fast I trying to figure out how to get at the bulb to replace it Shawn

There should two separate bulbs for marker and blinker. It sounds like a bulb is burnt out, bad ground, melted socket or a wiring anomaly. Are you certain it's supposed to have 57 series dual element bulbs for blinker and markers?

As long as the number on the bulbs are the same they will work. Deviating from those numbers will cause the flash rate to be really slow or really fast.

I would say that you probably have a bulb out in the right rear turn signal.

most blinkers uses relays, and when they flashes fast one light is out, but you replaced your burnt bulb might be a bad relay.

Normally with the blinker blinking really fast, it's telling you that one of the bulb is blown, front or rear signals. Check your fuse, and fuse relay to see if it would fix the promblem

You have a bulb out on the side that flashes too fast, either front or rear check them both.

Sounds like you need bulbs on both rear side lights. Does the blinker flassh really fast?

Check the "blinker " under the dash. It is a round little barrel type item. It is very inexpensive to try it out. If not you may have an intermittent short on the wiring.

Hi with the blinker blinking fast this tells you a bulb has gone now if you check witch one is working then you will know if its the front or back that needs replacing.
When you know this go and purchase the bulb from any car spares place also the car spares place can tell you the best way to replace the bulb as this varies from model to model.

replace the rear bulb it flashs fast to let you know the bulb is bad, whatever bulb is not flashing thats the bad bulb, should be a 1157 bulb or a 1156 if it has one contact it's a 1156 if two it's a 1157
