I own a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. My key is stuck

Disconnect the Negative (Very important only the negative cable) battery cable for 5 minutes and see if the system resets.

Shift interlock cable stuck. Car think still in gear so it won't release key

spray with silicone, let set 5 min. use pliers to push in 1st than pull out but only very little like shaking it. after that try puling gently out. pins maybe stuck. if remover use straw and spray/soak inside of key cylinder. cover key with light coat of oil insert completely and remove several times with light oil. air compressor oil works good.

Stuck relay. To locate, with battery hot and key off, feel the top of all relays to find the warm one. Replace same.

If u have removed a remote starting device I would say u got some wiring wrong need to retrace the wires make sure they are correct

slam it into park,sounds like shift interlock is hanging up or disconnect the cable at the shifter then try it

Check the ignition switch

you may have a bad switch which is located on the latch asm

the dvd on a 2004 chrysler pacifica doesnt start you can hear the sound but no picture. what could be the problem?

I had this problem too. You have to make sure on the shifter that the knob towards the dash is out. You know the one you hold in while you move the shifter into gear.
