The coolant flush would have nothing to do with the no start as long as you didn't overheat the engine. I suggest you do a fault code test on the engine control module, it is called an EECIV KOEO fault test. The instructions are at the link. The Bronco did come with the 5.8L. It's a 351 Windsor though. Ford quit making the Cleveland engine back in '74. You should have a vacuum diagram under the hood of your truck.
