When I fill up my 2005 Malibu, after I drive away within a few kms, the fuel gauge needle drops to near empty and the low fuel warning and sometimes the service engine light comes on. After I have driven...

To get a free diagnosis from dealer, take for oil change only, don't say a word about your problem, they will find it and also do a full scan on it and tell you what is wrong and how much to fix, sense you brought in for oil change, you have the option of letting them repair or telling them your not able at the moment and repair yourself,I get my vehicle's oil change at Dealer always, free scan.Me smarter than them.

Could it mean that the engine oil need to be change if light still comes on

No Vehicle made tells you when to change the oil

You will be told that by a dealer & professional
mechanics

Those type warnings & lights you get, are nothing
more than gadgets. They are usually reset so your
not concerned about it being lite

Just set up a schedule of your own, on oil changes
& keep a log book

If you use the car 5 days a week to go to work,
then you need to change your oil at least 4 times
a year, on ALL Vehicles

Never go over 4000 to 4,500 miles, that is about every 12 weeks

I had the oil changed a few weeks ago in my mercury mariner 2007 this morning when i was driving the change oil soon message came on can you tell me why

They probably did not reset the system after the last oil change. Take it back to the mechanic and ask them to reset it.

before you do though, check the oil level to make sure the oil looks fresh and is at the full mark. - you should always do this after every oil change. I have seen cases where the oil got drained, the local drug dealer came by and no one put oil in the car, or they didn't drain it and added new oil to what was already there - very messy problem to fix later.

Oil light comes on goes out when I step on gas then when I let goe of gas pedal light and dinging sound comes on and just keeps going.I have had a oil change done and keep checking oil and it is full

If the van is running normally otherwise then it may be a bad oil pressure sensor or more likely an idle control sensor. This could potentially be a DIY (trial and error) for someone comfortable with working on cars, but I would take it to a shop ( or a dealer that youn trust) and tell them to check out the sensors. Good luck!

Ny nissan 1994 cefiro model has what you call hiccups when driving, fuel pump has been changed including spark plugs, change oil done, cleaned the air intake as well, still has the hiccups?

Did you change spark plugs wires? fuel filter? I do not know if your car has MAF sensor, but if it does, clean it. Use CRC- Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner. also check Spark Plugs Gap and coil (s)
