How to remove & replace a 2005 Dodge Caravan Sliding Door Motor?

Remove Negitive battery cable. Remove 2nd row seat on the side to be replaced or remove bench. You have to do this from the inside of the van with the door closed. Remove the upper trim aroud the window by lifting from the bottom & pull up and out to pop the clips free. Starting on the bottom of the side door panel lift the panel out and up do not brake the upper part around the lock pin. Remove sound proofing sheet. The door motor is at the bottom. Remove the U-Clip holding the drive flex to the motor use neddle nose pillers. Use a trim tool or pillers to reve the plastic push fasterners. If using pillers use the pillers only on the flat side. ##Note have seen motors attached with bolts. Remove motor. Instalation is reverse of removal.
