If you've got a 65 Mustang in perfect condition, don't worry about the cost. The car's worth more than you think! I'd find a classic car club to jion and ask other members who they trust. Many of them won't answer but a few will. Otherwise, check your local BBB for car repair shops with good ratings.

A good gas station can perform a check-up. Some place that sells parts or does a lot of repairs is more apt to switch your good parts for used or unauthentic ones, or sabotage your car so that it requires repair.

I have a 1995 ford mustang 3.8 5 speed and i just put new plugs wires on the car and the engine still shakes it shakes so hard it shakes the whole car im at a loss can anybody tell me what it is and is it...

There are so many causes, electrical, plugs, fuel injectors, timing order, Think of what's been done check history of prior repairs, try to read codes , w/o knowing your mech. back round ,I would take my time and research the Motors Manual or Chiltons auto repair manual on line or at library.

My 1993 ford mustang 2.0L will shake like crazy but not all the time only some times. When it doesn't shake it runs perfect. When it does shake it looses a lot of power. It acts like a vacume hose leak...

Don't know if you already solved your Mustang's problem...the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve could be dirty, or if not cleanable not to costly to replace...a vacumn leak would be a more consistent problem...your local parts store can help you with the location of the IAC. Hope this helps.

Hi I have a 91 ford tbird 5.0 engine but oil pan has two humps in the oil pan and im train. To put in a 65 mustang

You will need to change the oil pump pickup tube and screen / about ten bucks for the Melling brand one..and get a different Pan SBF 260-289-302 so the sump will not interfere with the cross member.. you will also need to move the dipstick from the side to the front timing cover and there are other considerations..

Check this web link.. should be a real time saver for you

Have fun.. and best of luck!

I wanna install a chevy 350 in a 65 mustang i need prefabricated mounts but dont know where to get them and i wanna know how to hook up spedometer guage cable to trany

This will be strict fabrication. Google search to see if there is a kit available. Most likely not. The big thing is to put 5.0's and the newer 4.6 and 5.4's in them. You can build anything you want, as long as you have the time, knowledge, and or money.

2001 Ford Mustang Cobra air conditioning problem

most fords were built to whenever the air is on to blow air onto the windows as well. most people dont notice it cause its only a partial air. if it is blowing out pretty hard then the most likely cause of that is that the little flap in your air ducting is stuck or the return spring on it has gone bad. hope i helped, good luck with the fix.

Since the date in this post was a few years ago, I'm just gonna put it on here for someone else who may encounter the same issue. My '96 did the same exact thing. It was IAC (idle air control) valve. $50 and runs perfect...

87 mustang wont start

The interlock can have something to do with it. I've actually seen those devices rob the battery and create no starts. If it's not installed properly, then it can cause different things to go wrong with the car. Check the condition of your cables. Use a remote start button on the solonoid to make sure the solenoid isn't bad. Load test the battery as well. Check to make sure that your alternator is charging properly.
