Noise around the wheels of my corolla 2007

What exactly does the noise sound like? Cyclical means it happens over and over. Have you checked the wheel bearings?

Go to another mechanic and check out the wheel bearings and wheel nuts as the first mechanic would have fixed any problems the first time around.

Control arm bushings?

It's most likely the left wheel bearing that's causing the noise, when turning to the right the weight of the car shifts to the left placing more load on the left wheel bearing and takes load off the right bearing.

check for a bad rim ,move front wheels to back,worn tie-rod ends,(checked during wheel-alignment)

THIS NOISE IS CAUSED BY A POSSIBLE WHEEL BEARING
WHEN YOU DRIVE THE VEHICLE YOU SHOULD HEAR A ROARING NOISE AND AS YOU GO FASTER THE NOISE WILL GET LOUDER AND WHEN YOU TURN THE WHEEL FROM SIDE TO SIDE THE NOISE WILL FADE IN AND OUT. THIS IS AN INDICATION THAT THE WHEEL BEARING IS BAD.
ALSO ANOTHER WAY WOULD BE TO JACK UP THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE, BLOCK OFF THE REAR WHEELS SO THE CAR DOES NOT ROLL BACK ON YOU, THEN PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND GO TO THE WHEEL PUT YOUR HAND ON THE STRUT BASE AND SPIN THE TIRE WITH YOUR OTHER HAND YOU SHOULD FEEL A GRINDING NOISE. IF SO THE WHEEL BEARING ON THAT PARTICULAR SIDE IS BAD AND IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED

Possible axle shaft, or even a wheel bearing. Get it looked at.

Diagnosing the bearings can be tricky depending on severity of wear. Typically - drone noise at highway speeds, squeeling, clicking or grinding noises at low speeds that reduce during braking, or pull off the wheel and brake assembly and check the bearing for slack or smoothness of rotation by hand. While doing this, check the brake assembly thoroughly - generally a more likely culprit of wheel noise.

Wheel bearing replacement is not for the novice backyard mech. - you will need pullers, press, etc. If you can get a rebuilt assembly - much easier.

Hello. A vibration in the steerign wheel indicates an issue with the front tires. They are either out of balance, and would need to be rebalanced, or it is possible (although remotely) that the tire(s) may be compromised (after hitting a pothole), the belts in the tire may be corrupted. What I would suggest is to take the car to a reputable tire place, and get the balance checked. While the tire is on the balancer, the Tech will be able to see if the tire is out-of-round due to possible road damage. Probably just a tire balance problem. It's probably your calipers. I just had the exact same problem and it was my front drivers side caliper. Rides quiet now. Have someone check it out. When they lift the car and spin the wheels, it didn't turn easily at all. The passenger wheel did very easily though. Anyways, the part is around $125. Don't know what labor is. Got it on the house.
