Many of the master cylinders have connection for a brake light pressure switch. Some also active the brake lights by placing a switch directly under the brake pedal. You may need to build your own bracket.
Fuse 12 (10 Amps) may be burned out. Its located in "Junction Block". Losing fuse 12 would kill the ABS systems and light the ABS dashboard light.
Fuse 11 (20 Amps) may be out. Its located in "Power Distribution Center". Losing fuse 11 would kill the brake lights, and light the ABS dashboard light. If fuse 11 is blown, check your (3) brake light sockets for shorts of any type, or fuse 11 will just blow again.
Check fuses. The speedometer works off electronic signals, it is common for several indicators, like the brake light and abs signal to work off the same fuse. Check your owners manual for fuse panel location and fuse identification. Don't be surprised if you experience strange transmission shifting while this fuse is out as well. Without the speedometer signal the transmission doesn't know when to shift properly.
you have an ABS code in the ABS computer. You most likely damaged an ABS sensor. even after myouo fix this you will need to get the code cleared
NOTE: autozone wont be able to access the ABS computer.
Check engine light: Turn the key on three times in succession and wait for the codes. What are the codes?
Brake ABS light: When did you last have the brakes serviced?
No AC: Do you park your truck/car in a garage? Check the AC housing for leaves and debis which will burn out the AC fan motor.
