this is an easy fix, even for someone that doesnt have much experience. the belt istelf is fairly inexpensive. I cant see it being more then 20, maybe 30 dollars. and to replace it, first remove the old belt. you do this by using a ratchet handle. Im not sure what size it is. either a 3/8 drive or a 1/2" drive. the sqare drive will slip into a square hole on the tensioner's end, then you can use the ratchet for leverage to pull on the tensioner and remove tension from the belt. then you just pull the belt away from the tensioner, then you can release it and snake the rest of the belt out from the engine. try to keep an eye on where the belt goes. this will make it easier to put back on. but there should be a diagram somewhere under your hood showing the belts path. to install the new one, just put the belt on the proper pulleys, but leave the tensioner for last. when your ready, pull on the tensioner with your wrench again and slip the belt around that pully, then when its aligned, release the tensioner and it will automatically put the proper amount of tension on the belt. but make sure that you go through the belt and pulleys again to doublecheck them. they all must be on the pulleys straight. if they are hanging off the edges, or not aligned properly, it could slip off and damage your belt.
