Heat isn't working

Heat isn't blowing warm air. I have the dual climate controls for my heater. First it it stopped blowing warm air out on the driver side but was still blowing warm air out on the passenger side. Now it doesn't blow warm air at all just cold air.

SOURCE: heat works on driver side, passenger side blows cold air.

Did you check your coolant level or was it low and you added to it at some point? If so the system my need to be bleed or worst case the thermostat is going bad.

SOURCE: Impala has dual climate control. AC blows cold on

with a dual climate control system, it is imperative for a proper refrigerant charge to be maintained. the symptom you describe is a possible indicator of low charge on the system. the ac evaporator core is closest to the right side of vehicle thereby making air feel cooler on that side, on the left side of the vehicle the cooled air has farther to travel and warms up from cabin air before it discharged from the vents. this is the most probable issue for your vehicle...however if the charge is accurate, the issue would be more so in the air temperature doors which is located deep inside the dash...i hope this helps...good luck!

SOURCE: 2004 chevy tahoe, dual climate control, blowing different temps

Its more then likely the temp door broken or temp door motor broken/stuck. There is 2-3 of these motors under the dash on the side of the evap/heater core box. Some require extensive labor to replace, good luck

2004 Chevy Tahoe: I changed A/C blend door actuator on passenger side and it's still blowing heat on my driver side?

Does the vehicle have dual zone climate control, where the driver side and passenger side have different control? Sounds like a blend door issue on the driver side. Why did you replace the passenger side, was it blowing hot too when AC was on?

02Park Ave is blowing warm air on passenger side, but not drivers side nor windshield or heater

Are you able to control the driver side air temperature at the dash registers? If not and you can control the passenger side of the dual climate system then you have an issue with the air temperature control door (moves between the heater core heated air and the AC evaporator cold air stream) deep inside the dash or the electric actuator that moves it or in most cases both.

I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS. The dual climate control doesn't seem to work properly. With AC going, passenger side blows cold air but the drivers side blows warm air as if it is set for "vent". I replaced...

check the actuator motor and make sure it is moving the doors between the heater and the ac. it is in the center of the heater inside the car and is a small motor attached to the heater housing.

2003 chevy 1500 ss only blows cold air no heat

Dual climate control on these is not a manual valve adjuster. It is done electronicly with a electric motor on a valve instead of ran by a maual cable. Find this and check the plug for a 12 volt signal. If you are getting a signal replace the valve, if not it could be a blown fuse, cut wire, or a bad climate contol switch.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

The heater blows cold air-sometimes warm, but only intermittantly and only on the drivers side. Had the thermostat changed, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

Assuming that the car has dual climate control...
There is an air blend door actuator that controls the air blend of the climate control system. If the link that connects the actuator to the lever that opens and shuts the heater core became disconnected, then depending on the direction of the last bump you went over you opened or shut the heater core. The actuator and link for the drivers side are behind the dash and hard to get to.
If you want to know what you are looking for, the one on the passenger side is very accessible. Just drop the glove box, and looking somewhat upwards behind the air bag door, you'll see a white lever with a metal rod connecting it to the actuator motor. Just change between heat and AC and watch it move.
The actuator is a dealer part and really expensive. Just pull the passenger one from a junk yard and have someone install it on the driver side; it'll save you a bundle! Good Luck

The heater in my 2003 Dodge Ram 4x4 will not heat up or gets only luke warm & only on the passenger side....any suggestions?

Cold on drivers side and heat on passengers side, actuators working properly and blend doors are moving. Heatertreater is for piece of plastic on actuator motor. I moved blend door by hand after disconnecting actuator and works fine, both sides freezing when moved in opposite direction.
