1999 saturn sl1 wagon has overheating problem. Had a leak in the reservoir so I replaced that. During that time had added stop leak several times. Reservoir is now new, but still losing water at speeds over 60. Radiator seems fine, hoses are ok, heater core not leaking, water pump is ok. How do I find out where water is leaking to?

If you cant see any water coming out anywhere then the only choice is a blown head gasket.

The reason the resorvior had a leak was the pressure from the engine got into the coolant and blew up the reservior bottle. This is a real common problem with saturns.

Get the car inspected. A simple test a a reapir shop will confirm this.

Be sure to flush all the stop leak out or it will clog the heater core up and the heater will not work.

Overheating, loss of coolant, reservoir not working

Sounds like to me your mechanic is on the right track by having the rad cap changed. If the coolant becomes low again in the near future and there is no visible fluid leak on outside of engine or on floor/ground then your problem is internal and possibly a head gasket.

Take it to a shop and ask them to put it up on a lift, take a look and figure out where it is leaking. They can tell you and also how much to fix.

Water is leaking out of my coolant container.car is overheating with less than 2 mins of driving

Need to seal the leak in the coolant container with epoxy or by replacing the coolant container.

Fill coolant system with 50/50 solution up to 2 gallons may be required to stop the overheating.

Don't drive an overheated engine.

I think that my timing chain may be missaligned on a 99 saturn sl1 how do i check that and fixt it with out removing the timeing chain cover

I do not think that is possible, you must remove the cover to see and align the marks. I just replaced timing chain on a 99 SL1 I sold to a friend, and it was off one tooth from the factory. That assumes that no one ever changed it before, has 175,000 miles.

1999 SATUN SL1 OVERHEATING

The water isn't boiling, you apparently have a combustion leak into your cooling system. What you are seeing are compression bubbles. Possible cracked head or another head gasket. Sorry.

1999 Saturn SL1 trouble starting when warm

It was the coolant temperature sensor. It was telling the car that the coolant was always cold, therefore when starting a warm engine it was being flooded. $$$
