Not producing nearly enough heat. Small amount of heat from the side window vents when on defrost setting. All else is cold air. Thermostat been replaced twice. Heater core flushed three times. Lines going in and out of heater core are hot. Fan works. Is there a temp control valve? If so I can't find it in the heater core lines under the hood. Had it to Firestone and they say this is normal for this van???? Any help appreciated.

I'm slightly disabled. Sounds a little hard to get to. Do you know precisely where in the duct work this is? The air does change from hot to cold when the outside temp is warmer, so it would seem the thing is working. I thought there would be a valve in the engine water line which would route more hot water to the core; that's what I can't find. Maybe this model doesn't have that anymore. I'm going back a few years when I used to know a little about this stuff and fix it myself. A little past that now.
Thanks

The heater hose closest to the master cylinder has only a water hose connection on it for a heater core flush. I think it comes with a previously purchased flush kit. Please keep trying. Really appreciate this help. But I don't think we've found the answer yet for this model van.
Thanks,
Don
