2007 MERCURY MOUNTAINEER AWD 6-CYLINDER. ON

2007 MERCURY MOUNTAINEER AWD 6-CYLINDER 27,000 MILES. ON STRAIGHT GOOD FLAT ROADS FOR NO REASON THE TRACTION CONTROL KICK-IN, WITH REDUCTION OF RPM/POWER. THE DEALER CAN FIND NO PROBLEMS.
THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT STAYS ON UNTIL I TURN OFF AND RESTART. I AM GOING HIGHWAY SPEED 55 TO 70 MPH WHEN THIS HAPPENS. HAS PUT ON COMPUTER AND NO CODES SHOW UP. COULD IT BE TRANSMISSION OR WHEEL BEARING THAT COULD CAUSE TRACTION CONTROL TO TURN ON.

What is R&R labor time on a automatic transmission in a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer 4.0 v6 2wd

Labor rate is 6 to 7 hours. AWD drives are 2 hours more. I do them at a shop, with lifts and jacks in 4 hours. In and out. But I take my time. I have seen them done in 2 1/2 hours.

I have a 2005 mercury mountaineer and the abs light and the awd light is on and it feels like the tires and locking up can anybody tell me what going on

It means you are driving in All Wheel Drive mode (not recommended for driving on regular roads, so turn it OFF), and that the Anti-lock Brake System module has likely failed (possibly because you were driving around on regular roads with All Wheel Drive turned on).

My ABS light is on and its like the brakes are

Bring the vehicle into a repair shop ASAP. There are several things that can be wrong such as calipers master cylinder, module, fluid exhaust valves . ABS problems will affect AWD. So in all likelyhood once ABS problem is cleared AWD will be fine.
