Location of oil pressure sending unit on 2015 Explorer xlt awd w/3.5l

You should have oil cooler lines on the filter adapter and the sender is there it screws into the adapter and has one contact inside the plug go to rockauto.Com and look up your vehicle and then the part in electrical switch and relay it may just be shorting out from the oil filter leaking and cleaning and a new oil filter may stop it from lighting up but maybe not good luck stephen

Where is the location of the oil pressure sender on a 2014 awd Chevy Equinox?

The AWD Equinox has two model selections (LS & LT) and two 2.4L engine options (K2.4L FI DOHC & the K2.4L Flex Fuel DOHC.)

Information on the Equinox engines oil pressure senders location is difficult to find on line so all I can offer in the way of help is to say that It will be on the engine block connected to the ECM (engine Control Module) with a single TN/BK (Tan/Black) wire lead.

The Oil Pressure Sender is a distinct looking unit that is sold by Autozone and they provide pictures of the various makes which should help you identify the units location on your engine block.

My 97 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition V8 engine is shaking, running rough and low idling. What could be the problem?

Seems like there might be a vacume leak, mass air flow sensor dirty or bad ignation coil/s. Yeh one thing very important check the fuel pressure.

My 1997 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer v8 AWD makes a really deep ticking/clicking sound when running. It's hard to describe the sound, but it's almost as if you can hear each piston cranking. As I accelerate...

It could be rod knock: if so, plan on an engine change/rebuild. On my 97 F 250, 5W motor oil is recommended,so you can't put in heavier oil. But that's not a solution. Something mechanical is askew.

Temperature gauge not working on my 1997 ford explorer 5.0

Most likely a failure of the sender/sensor unit which will be screwed either into the block or on the radiator tank. Most of these have only a single wire coming from them.

1997 ford explorer V8 5.0 engine

P1405-Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic (DPFE) sensor upstream hose off or plugged - or cracked.

I believe it is on the driver's side of engine about half-way down. also, check all other hoses for damage
