Feel the heater hoses where they go through the firewall. If they're both hot but you're not getting any heat, your blend door is not moving to mix heated air with unheated air. It could be the blend door actuator not working or the HVAC control unit not working.
If it is an inlet hose, there should be a valve that allows water into the heater core. Usually, when someone disconnects these particular hoses, it is because of a leaky heater core. You may have more issues after you reconnect, however in order to get heat, they will have to be connected and if your heater core then leaks, (in the passenger side floorboard), you will have to replace the heater core as well. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!
check youre anti freeze , make sure it is full ,check the heater hoses near the firewall they should be the same temp, if they are you can check a few things the cable on the heater control make sure it is moving freely , if not, check the heater box under the glove compartment the cable might have gotten disconnected ,if every thing is hooked up you may need to have the thermostat replaced .if the hoses are not the same temp ,youre heater core is blocked ...
Sounds like a partial plug in a heater hose or the heater core itself. There's not a full flow of water and it cools off faster than its replenished. The hot water valve may not be opening all the way either. Backflush the heater core, run water from a hose the opposite way it normally flows,Thru the core to clear it. Check hoses the same way. Also chech them for soft spots the hose may be collapsing internally. If the engine is not overheating the water pump is probably ok . if it is running a little too hot the thermostat may not be opening all the way either/ Replacing it could help too. Should be installed as a liquid (simply meaning inverting the cylinder) in the low side service port(if and when the compressor is running). This is always the larger hose/accumulator on passenger side heading into the interior compartment/firewall. High side pipes are smaller tubing heading towards the front condenser/reciver dryer and run superheated rerigerant so they get hot...low side always feels cold.....
Pretty common on those. I used CLR and disconnected my heater hoses & with a small pump, I ran CLR only, through the heater core, and let it sit in there overnight, flushed it through again next day, back flush as well. re-connect hoses, run engine with heater on, and rad cap off until the rad fan comes on 2 or 3 times, then put cap back on, to bleed air out of system. Cleaned it out enough to get the heat flowing again. If you changed thermostat and didn't let it run with heat on, and rad cap off for a while as described above, then do that first, just to make sure you haven't just got an air lock in the system.
Yes, this is very normal. You'll replace the front 3 times before you'll have to replace the rears. The reason for this is because 80% of your braking is in the front. There is nothing wrong with your brake system.
