Check the voltage at the battery when the engine is running. It should be 14 volts or more when the alternator is charging and around 12 volts if it is not.
I had the same problems in my 1994 Buick Regal the car kept on getting low in battery and lost power. but all i did was replace the terminals that connects to the battery.....
