When do they feel loose, while driving or jacked up wheels of ground.
it could be front wheel bearings need adjusting ( or replacing) the wheel may have been crooked when it was tightened up, tof fix loosen wheels and retighten in a cross pattern (one on one side, and the opposite it, working around the wheel. I had a garage put two new tyres on my car, two hundred feet up the road and it felt like my front wheels were falling off, they had not bedded either one of the wheels. it does happen.

Testimonial: "Excellent answer. I felt the whobble while driving. Can't remember it was like that before since mrs usually drives this one. Thanks anyway."

Double check that everything is tightened to factory torque specs, caliper mount, caliper pins, wheel lug nuts, and check axle nuts also. If they all are tightened properly I would then check tie rod ends. Did you notice this before the brakes were done? If not, it should just be that something wasn't tightened completely after the brake job was completed.

Testimonial: "It was wobbly before I did the brake job. That's a very good thing to point out. Thanks."

The wobble you referred to many be the front wheel bearings.
jack the front end of the astro up and wiggle the front tires.

if they wobble or there is a lot of movement check the front
wheel bearings on both sides. they are inexpensive.

Testimonial: "Good suggestions. Thanks."

Front wheel feels like it's wobbling when braking

I had that same problem on my Toyota pickup once and replace the wheel. No more problem. Wheel must have had a certain warp to it. Normally though, this wobble you feel would be a burnt spot in a rotor. But you've replaced that.

When I press on the brakes the car shakes a little, I can feel it in the steering wheel.

The front brake rotors are warped. Have front brakes checked and see how much pad is left. Some shops will offer to "turn the rotors". This means they will machine them. This is a quick fix. For the correct way is to replace them. Be careful where they get there rotors from. A cheaper auto parts store may carry them for less, but can also come warped from the manufacture. I would chose NAPA auto parts. I have better luck with them.

My escape is making a grinding sound, along with pulsating when braking. My husband has replaced the abs sensor, and it is still doing te same thing. Any suggestions what to do next?

The grinding sound when braking is almost surely worn brake pads. If an abs sensor is bad it will set the abs light on. Heres an easy way to figure whether to look at the front or rear brakes first. When braking, take notice as to whether the vibration is felt more in the steering wheel or the seat. If it is more in the steering wheel take a look at your front brakes first, and obviously if it is felt in the seat look at the back brakes first. Both front and rear need to be checked out because the pulsating you are feeling is due to rotors or drums that have been heated up and warped. In order to fix both problems, you most likely will need brake pads and rotors/drums. If you just replace the pads, not only will the pads wear away faster due to the damage to the rotors/drums, but your vibration issue will not go away and infact may intensify.

Heat coming from1997 geo tracker & front tires

sounds like you have a brake claiper piston not return causing the brake pads to drag, jack up both wheels and spin to see if you can feel or hear drag, give the wheel a hard spin and see if it stops right away or seems to spin freely, could be the drag of the pads on the rotor, or wheel bearings need repack or even as much as brake residual fluid pressure on calipers cuased by improper brake mc pushrod adjustment, if you have had any recent brake work like a MC replacement it could be that it was not properly adjusted as far as pedal free play... check those.. please let me know if this helps, rate my help...thanks
