The relay center is under the hood, there should be several with the same #'s switch one that you know is working in place of the fan relay, if fans turn on replace relay. It is faster to turn on ac after switching relays for diagnostics as fan should run as long as ac is on...

Your blower speed resistor has gone bad and needs to be replaced. You can pick one up at Auto Zone or Parts Source with the step by step instructions to getting the resistor replaced with common tools.

It is located under the glove box, way in the back of the passenger foot area. You'll need to remove 2 screws with a 7mm socket, and remove the plastic cover that covers the blower motor and another component box that I think controls the passenger airbag. After removing the plastic cover you'll need to side that passenger airbag module to the right so it pop off its mounting bracket and move it out of the way. That will give a better view of the blower motor. I highly recommend you also remove the blower motor itself because the Blower Motor Resistor is located behind it. I think you'll need a 5mm or 5.5mm socket to remove the 3 screws that hold in place the blower motor and 2 more screws for the Blower Motor Resistor... It's a cramped location to work in but if you have all the tools and enough lighting then it shouldn't take more than 30-60 minutes to do. The Blower Motor Resistor costs about $19-$25. Good luck

SOURCE: Bad Clutch Fan? Rear ac/heat don't work front only works on 4

The fan clutch isnt engaged at all times, therefore it may be normal to hold it in place (not recommended). On these trailblazer's 4.2L engine the fan clutch is electronically controlled. Usually when this vehicle's fan clutch malfunctions, there is a random ticking noise while idling or at a stop, also the "service engine soon" may turn on. As for the the fan speed problem, this may be a faulty blower resistor malf (typical) or climate control unit may be faulty. Hopefully this helps!!

Radiator fans won't come on while van is running

Start the car and turn on the AC to max. Do either of the fans run with the AC compressor engaged? Also, there is a temp sensor for the fan circuit but I don't know exactly where it is located on that vehicle.

Make sure your fan clutch is working. No fan, no cooling of the condenser, no heat dissipation, no cold air. Start the truck and make sure you feel air movement, a lot.

I don't have a condenser in my pick-up trunk, so I don't have AC, is this also why I don't have heat or heat/AC fan does not come on

checked the fuse for the blower motor. if the fuse is good check for power at the motor. the blower motor is behind the golve box.

I have a 2003 camery le six cylender with double fans that is over heating . On the highway the temp gauge stays in the middle section but in stop and go traffic it starts to rise and the air conditioner...

stop and go traffic will make the car heat up,, make sure you have air flow through the radiator fins, also make sure that the ac fan is actually engaging the fans work on a sensor and if they don't work, neither does the fan.
