Battery dead on 2010 volkswagen tiguan. keyless entry only. is there a keyhole?

The end of the door handle (the part that doesn't move when you open the door) is actually a plastic cap under which hides the real keyhole. There is even a key-sized hole at the bottom of it which you can feel with your finger. Just pry it off and you're good to go.
