The high end KIA model has a remote tire pressure sensor package. RTPS Make sure all tires (including spare) are inflated to 32 PSI.

This is the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system). Check your tire pressure; If correct then there is a fault in that system that needs to be diagnosed.

Kia sportage warning light

That means you have a fault code for your air bag system. You need a scan tool to retrieve the code and fix the problem.

I have a KIA Sportagae 2006. A light lit up on my dashboard which is yellow, looks like a horseshoe and has an explanation point in the middle. What does that mean?

I believe the exclamation point inside the lines(which are supposed to be a tire symbol) is a low tire pressure warning indicator. Check all tire pressures, as a drop of just 10% will set the lamp off. It will take up to 5 minutes with the car running for the lamp to shut off after filling tires. Hope this helps.

GOOD LUCK i hope this is of help

Why are my winows not defogging on the inside of my 2000 kia sportage

The KIA Sportage needs the temp controller switch turned to the heat/defrost side AND you need to hit the Air Conditioner Condenser button on the dash that look similar to a recycle symbol. It is not the same as the switch next to it that is a recirculate cabin air symbol. The button you want, normally turn green when activated in combination with the fan being turned on.

I have 2006 Kia Sportage. I have been encountering hard start.

There is a check valve under the vehicle on passengers side of vehicle, near the axle, this is most likely the problem,it is allowing the fuel to drain back in the tank. This part is only available online,or at the Kia dealer.I hope this was helpful, and if so,please rate, thank you.

Looks like horseshoe with exclamation point

Indicates your tire pressure is less then 32 psi on one or more of your tires. Once you have all your tire pressure at 32 PSI, the car's TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) will recalibrate and reset. Once reset the light should go off if all tire pressure are the same.
Thank you for using FIxya and good luck

Light on on the dash.located in the lower portion of the speedometer area. looks like a horseshoe with a few lines in it.

It's probably the tire pressure sensor (looks like a horseshoe with the open end up and sometimes an exclamation point in it). Check the pressure on all your tires.
