Just make sure that the outlet on the fuel filter is pointing toward's the front or to injector's. There is no air to be bleed out of fuel system, just turn key and fuel system will pressureize, also check your fuel cut off switch might be located at driver side kick panel, will have a round cover with fuel shut off on it. good luck, hope this was helpful.

Did you Fill the Fuel Filter prior to mounting it? Is the Fuel Filter connected properly? Wast there a Seal covering both the Inlet and Outlet connections and if so did you remove every part of the seal(s)? I am not sure but, you may have a Master Emergency Fuel Shut Off device on that vehicle. If you DID NOT disconnect the Battery prior to replacing the Fuel Filter it is possible that the Master Fuel Shut Off acted normally and requires re-setting. I would check your Owners Manual first to see if this is the case or if you don't have an Owners Manual then contact a Ford Dealer Service Department to determine if this vehicle has a Master Fuel Shut Off device.
