Impact gun would be the best way to remove it, you could also get a breaker bar with the right size socket rest the breaker bar on the driver side frame, bump engine, should work I do that some time's
You are probably turning the wrong way. The bolt is probably reverse threaded and you have done nothing but tighten it. Which ever way your engine normally turns, the bolt is threaded in the opposite direction..(to loosen you must turn opposite the direction of rotation). An impact is the preferred way to get that bolt out ! Good Luck! I hope this is very helpful!
