My reservoir hose is building up pressure so fast, that it shoots out the antifreeze as soon as I push the throttle or gas. It wasnt leaking from the bottom, but some of the liquid at first was shooting out of the exhaust as I drove. I don't know if its a head gasket, and if its worth even fixing. a 99 with 225,000 miles on it.

probably find that it is not antifreeze( check your radiator and reservoir to be sure)but the moisture collected during the ac operation
it drains out of the bottom of the ac box down a hose out under the car
The radiator cap is bad or is the wrong one. The caps are rated for pressure and when that pressure is reached, it opens to allow coolant into the reservoir. When the system cools off, the coolant contracts and creates a vacuum in the system. Then the coolant is drawn back into the radiator. If it is not the cap, check the hose from the radiator to the reservoir.
there is either a pocket of air or the car is burning the coolant if there is no leak. check inside the car for any coolant leaking under the dash if so the heater core has a hole in it.
You have a blown head gasket or a cracked head..more than likely just a blown head gasket..you need to have someone run a combustion gas test on the radiator..you are getting raw exhaust pushed back in to the radiator causing it to superheat
LEAK COULD BE COMING FROM RADIATOR.WHEN YOU FIRST START VECHICLE UP IN MORNING LET ENGINE IDLE TO GET UNTIL THERMOSTAT OPEN AND COOLANT PRESSURE BUILD UP. TURN ENGINE.OFF. RAISE HOOD YOU WILL SEE LEAK. THE COOLANT PRESSURE WILL PUSH OUT ANTIFREEZE.LOOK FOR LEAKS AROUND TOP RADIATOR HOSE AND LOWER RADIATOR HOSE.LOOK ON SIDES RADIATOR AND LOOK BELOW RADIATOR AREA WHERE COOLANTS FANS LOCATED RADIATOR CORES WILL LEAK AND LOOK AROUND WATER PUMP + BYPASS HOSE + CHECK HEATER HOSES TO HEATER CORE THAT GOES THROUGH BACK LOWER FIRE WALL.
You have a failed hose or head gasket. When you have a few minutes free time and your engine is cold dry all of the wet places on the engine. Start the engine and let it reach normal operating temperature all the while watching for the leak. Many cases it it a collant hose leak at or near where the clamp attaches the hose to the fitting. As soon as you see coolant turn the engine off so you can see and hear better to find the source. At normal operating temperature it will retain pressure for a few minutes.
need to perform a coolant pressure test. fill the reservoir and after the engine cools down fill the radiator, next start the engine and wait till the coolant system builds pressure then turn off the engine and using a mirror and flash light look for a leak.check water pump, hoses, radiator tanks for cracks, intake gasket at the corners espesically at the back next to the trans.also pull the carpet back and check for coolant leaking from the heater core, and last remove the sparkplugs and check for leaking head gaskets.hope this helped.
