1995 grand jeep cherokee won't start again after turning off
1995 grand jeep cherokee larado runs fine but once I stop the car and turn it off then try to start it back up, it won't start. Battery is good and so is alternator.

If it turns over and is not the security light then check to c for a spark if it has spark check for the smell of gas otherwise it is most likely a loose wire or sensor

Your Jeep has what's known as the delayed start, no check engine light problem. The Jeep will not start until the check engine light comes on, on the dashboard. Next time it cranks but will not start, look at the dashboard to see if the check engine light is illuminated. If it's not lit up, then your Jeep does have that problem and your Jeep ecu is in need of repair or replacement. There are components inside the ecu that are going bad and will continue to get worse, eventually leading to a permanent no start condition. There are ecu repair services and replacement ecus on ebay.
Dirty transmission filter. Most "service" places only pump out the fluid through the dipstick tube and tell you that the filter will be OK. That way they don't get an ATF bath when they pull the pan. I'm guessing that the crud in your tranny is pluging the filter after a few miles, when you shut it off, the fluid runs back down, washing the dirt and metal pieces back into the pan.
turn on the car and listen outside under the car.... are you able to hear the fuel pump ?
and there is a shut off ... for fords it's located in the rear compartment cover area where the jack is stored.
sounds like a security issue they installed a factory security system which will prevent the vehicle from running unless its reset go to passenger door lock turn key twice it worked for me after chasing other problems for a few hours
